Moderately priced but definitely sleep at your own risk. The shower was disgusting and had a single "warm" setting but plenty of cold. There was a cockroach in the fridge, and others wandering the walls. Not sure if it was just the water quality or the pipes, but turning on the water smelled like potting soil.

I stayed almost 8 days. The room was great at first. Then on the second day my toilet started backing up. I requested a plunger but it never showed up. 3 days of requests went by and nothing was ever done about it I ended up having to buy a plunger myself. On days 7 & 8, I started noticing roaches about 3 to 4 a day. I asked them if it was possible to spray, they assured me they would and I needed to be out of the room for 1 hour. I waited for them to show and no one ever did with not one single reason as to why. This place clearly doesn't care about the clients that stay in their hotel or their time. That will bet last stay at that hotel.

My autistic daughter and her autistic boyfriend stayed here due to mold and their apartment for 3 days. They chose the most expensive room which was the jacuzzi room (which is pretty darn cute for a low level hotel with a step up wooden Jacuzzi playform). $150 a night. That's $450 plus a $100 for three nights at a low/ mid level hotel with shady dealings going on all around. When I arrived to pick them up there was a drug deal happening through the fence and a woman trying to sell me a coffee pot in the lobby. She wouldn't give up! Yet no one was trying to make her leave. My daughter and her partner are special needs. That's why I didn't choose a high end family hotel. I knew they'd be loud and argue and go in and out all night. They were robbed while they were there because she left the door open so that is her fault. They called the cops and reported it. They both smoke like freight trains but it was a smoking room. After being in the room 3 days it did smell strongly like a dank ashtray but the deposit is for damages not smell. I tried to let my daughter do things on her own. She went inside to get her deposit and they would only give her $40 of it back and we're extremely rude and told her that they were going to throw up going in there. I was just there an hour earlier helping her load her things back into the car. It did smell like a dank ashtray but it wasn't anywhere near what the lady suggested. I don't smoke so there's nothing wrong with my nose. They just wanted to keep the $60. I went inside and was polite, not telling them I was with her. I said I was a Google map advisor and I was curious whether each room gets sanitized thoroughly in between rentals. They said of course. I said well that's good to know. The woman that just left the jacuzzi room is my daughter and she is telling me that she cannot have her deposit back because you said you have to sanitize the room. The lady got loud and literally raising her voice at me, saying I should be ashamed and that she didn't know how I could live like that, that the towels were very dirty and they were going to have to do extra cleaning to get the smell out of the room. I told her that after 3 days one would hope that they would be washing the linens and the towels anyway and vacuuming the floors and whatever else it takes to thoroughly sanitize a room before renting it back out to someone else. I did not need to tell her that my daughter and her partner were autistic because it was none of her business, but they certainly took this time to tell me all of my daughters business...personal things that were a direct and clear violation of her privacy. I don't know if they have privacy policies at hotels but if they do they definitely broke it! I called corporate and found out that hotel is privately owned. At the end of the day, I'm not completely surprised that she did not get her deposit back. There's going to be a reason why they charge cash deposits at a place like this. I think my biggest peeve is how despite the fact that I was polite and kept my voice at a normal level with no cursing, I was shouted at and talked to very hurtfully and disrespected in a manner that has never been done before. They don't know each individual's personal situation and in a position such as theirs, they should give compassion to everyone. It's CLEAR my daughter is autistic. The property was not damaged. Nothing was stained. No body fluids such as vomit or diarrhea or blood were in there. No extenuating circumstances such as that! I've been a Google map advisor for many years and have left hotel reviews across the country because I'm a traveling mobile dog groomer. I've never left a review such as this one and very rarely leave nasty reviews. So I hope that will give anyone who considers staying at this hotel food for thought. They'll exaggerate and keep your cash deposit so expect to pay more than it's worth. Rooms: The jacuzzi room has a step up wooden platform and is stinking cute. It's a basic jet bathtub not a round one but still cute. Nearby activities: Bowling alley next door Safety: Don't leave your door open for ventilation my daughter went to the bathroom and left the door open because she did not think and someone stole her purse. So not only did she lose her deposit but all her cash and debit were stolen and we had to cancel it and will now have to get her id and SS card again. Walkability: There's sidewalks that are safe. Food & drinks: No continental breakfast here. There are gas stations on both ends of this street if you're walking. If you have no mobility issues and can walk a little further, there are plenty of restaurants out on the main road. For a car drive, it's only a minute or two away to get to Denny's, McDonald's. Plenty of taco and noodle places a Mexican bakery and ice cream shops. Shake n Buns has vegan burgers and vegan shakes.
