I was not confident in the Barstow area when I made the reservation online but when we pulled up to the hotel I was very pleased with the safety of the area of the hotel and access to amenities like good restaurants and clean gas stations. The gym here is VERY nice as is the pool. The lobby is very clean and welcoming. Room was spotless and did not have any classic hotel smell that typically is the undertone of any hotel. Room is huge! Quiet. We did not hear a peep from any other room coming into our room the entire stay. It was also a great price for what we got.

Amazing forepit patio, nice gym and good location for business travel. Would not recommend as a vacation destination.

If I can give more than 5 stars in this hotel I will. First of all, the staff in this hotel are friendly and they go above and beyond. The ladies in the front desk and the kitchen are very hospitable and nice. The room is very clean and the kitchen is an added bonus! We are on a road trip and our car broke so we decided to stay at Home2Suites Barstow. I asked if we can check out late and hang out in the lobby until our car gets picked up. We stayed at the lobby until 4pm and hang out until our car got towed. I highly recommend this place.
Rooms: Clean and spacious room.
