Been going to Dale for about 7 years now and still have no complaints. Always super friendly and is very hospitable. The shop is always clean and lively. 100% would recommend.

I've been going to 44 Palms for four years now. From the ease of booking online, to the great barbers and the good vibes inside both of the shops, its the best shop on the peninsula. Dale is always in a great mood and aims to please his clients. I always recommend this shop to anyone looking for a great cut and great time.

The staff is really nice, as is the atmosphere. The thing is -- I've been here 2-3 times and, regardless of the barber you work with, they really can only do super short, clipper-style hairstyles. Doesn't matter if you describe what you want in words (i.e., "short on the sides" does't mean buzzcut to the skin) or if you show them a photo of a prior, successful haircut that clearly isn't a clipper cut. Out come the clippers and you won't get the haircut you asked for. So, this place is great if you want a haircut for your child or are a dude who likes fades and basic mens' haircuts. They do a really good job at that. Otherwise I suggest going to Bushwackers down the road, where they have a lot more range.
