So... the location is good!
Ok, that's out of the way.. the room is cool, has a wired internet connection which is a massive win. But uh.. the room ceiling fan seems to also be wired to another room, so that was fun. Housekeeping service hasn't happened once. The breakfast wasn't served one of the days. They got a pretty decent lay out for the food for it being pretty bland. Several times the front desk just went missing for almost an hour. It isn't likely to be a place ill ever stay at again
Noteworthy details: Not good with the services, no house keeping, breakfast not always served

Rooms: These suites are great if you need a little privacy from your traveling partner. Like if someone snores.also perfect for saving a little money by having the kitchenette. The only issue (and this is minor) is the bathroom is in the bedroom, so if someone stays in the living room, they have to go into the room to use the bathroom. I think this is different in the larger suites, and the bathroom is between the areasnot a big issue actually.
Food & drinks: There is a small pantry/market area by the lobby, with items for purchase.

Our family stayed here for a two day volleyball tournament! Great location and close to stores and restaurants. Our drive to the San Mateo Event Center was a 5 minute drive. The rooms were very spacious and comfy beds to sleep. The kitchen was a big help to our stay. The swimming pool and porch area was a very nice touch for our team to BBQ and hang out.
Rooms: Spacious and clean rooms, the full size kitchen is a bonus with all the utensils and pots/plates.
Nearby activities: Japanese Garden
Safety: Our family felt safe staying here.

Room was clean. Hotel was easy to get to. Service was lacking. There never seemed to be anyone at the front counter. On two occasions, I had to call the main number from a cell to reach someone. Checking out was an ordeal as the night auditors password reset and he got locked out. I gave up and did it later.
Also there was a hole in the window of my guest room from what appeared to be a BB gun pellet. For $300 a night, one expects a little more
