I was referred to her by a friend of mine years ago and my son was a patient of hers for 3 years. Her office is unclean and her toy are dusty and outdated. She is curt and not friendly. One time she started disclosing personal things to me about this friend who referred me, as she did not know that I was her friend. There were some red flags but the office is down the street from us so I kept with it. Then we got a bill from her office that seemed inappropriately large and when my husband tracked it down, turns out she had billed our service from a South Bay location. We found out when a service provider does this, since it is not out area, the bill is greater. We left immediately after this.

My child was a patient here in 2013-2014 (he was 3-4 years old). Dr Kim told me that my son had a lot of cavities, recommended sealants and treatment procedure that required anesthesia. As a first time parent, I felt that I failed in taking care of my son's dental health. I took her recommendation, paid thousands out of pockets for the sealants and the treatment. 6 months later, my son was scheduled for a regular cleaning and she took an extra x-ray when it was not covered by insurance (most insurance only allows 1 x-ray per year), and she did not inform this before taking the x-ray, so I had to pay out of pocket again. And during this routine cleaning, she said my son had more cavities. I could not believe her anymore at that point. He was supposed to have sealants from the treatment, how can he possibly have cavities again?! And I took extra care in brushing his teeth and flossing after the treatment, so I finally switched my son to a different dentist and he almost never had any cavities ever since then. Maybe only 1-2 times in the last 8-9 years.Bottom line, Savannah Kim just wants your money by saying your child needs treatments for any microscopic cavities that even x-ray cannot detect. And her treatments required anesthesia which could have bad effect in young children.I paid everything. I let her know we were switching to different dentist. I did a clean cut off. And I thought that was the end of it.Fast forward to today, almost 9 years after the last time my son had that routine cleaning with her, I got an email from her. Saying that she was looking at past records and that there's still a balance due of $354 from 2014. Who in their right mind would even do this?!

Staff is very patient and kind. As well as the hygienist and dentist. Always a great experience bringing my daughter in.

Great hygienist, she explained everything very well and showed my 13 year old proper brushing techniques for his braces
