All bad with them, I left my cat for the vacations in December and I had to confirm the stay twice, they are very disorganized with the mails and documents, by that time I sent all the vaccines up to date, last week we took him to bathe and they asked again for the documents of vaccines and they already had them from the other time, they said that one vaccine was expired and we had it applied before leaving him for our vacation. When my husband picked up the cat, the person in charge told him that the next time we took him for a bath, we should also bring medicine to calm him down or put him to sleep! SOOTHING/SLEEPING MEDICINE AT A PLACE THAT "SPECIALIZES" IN CATS! Since we picked him up he has been behaving differently I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. End

We have 2 cats that go here for boarding and nail trimmings. We have never been impressed by their care as they repeatedly forget to send updates when staying the night and make our cats uncomfortable. This time was the last straw. Our youngest cat who is trusting and friendly and ALWAYS calm at vet appointments or nail trims was apparently uncooperative and they cut his nail a little too short the nail is gone. It is bleeding and he is in pain. They brushed it off so casually. What a horrific place. He is absolutely traumatized by their carelessness. If you love your cat, I would think twice about having your cats groomed here.

Highly recommend. They are so friendly and have a lot of fun activities for cats. I felt ensured that my cat was well taken care of, playing with other cats, and properly pampered during her stay here!

The crew at the Cat's Inn are terrific and so good with my kitty! They are all about cats and my fur-baby has a very relaxed time when he is with them - I highly recommend them!!

Valeria, I am sorry to hear you did not have a good experience with us. December is our busiest time of the year, and we unfortunately had an involuntary system update that wiped some records. It sounds like this resulted in us requesting records more than once from you. I can understand how that is frustrating and can come off as unorganized. This is the first time this has ever happened to us, we tried to handle the situation as smoothly as possible, with minimal interference with our customers. I do not know your kitties name, but it sounds like our groomer suggested getting a sedative, such as Gabapentin or Acepromazine. These medications are widely known and used amongst cats and dogs who experience anxiety or stress. All this medication does is calm’s them down, your cat will never be asleep from this medication. This is a medication you must get from your veterinarian; we do not carry this at our facility nor administer it. We would NEVER request for an animal to be "put to sleep" for a grooming appointment. Yes, we are gentle groomers, and we do in fact specialize in cats, which is why we have been in business for 25 years! If this medication was suggested by the groomer, it was due to your kitty being stressed to the point of biting and lunging at the groomer, or possibly putting himself at risk of getting hurt due to his behavior. We would not be gentle groomers if we forced a cat like him every time through an experience he does not react well too. Most kitties do not need a sedative for grooming, but we will always be upfront and honest with owners if their kitty did not react well to the grooming services. If you would like to speak to our groomer about your kitty’s experience, she will be happy to go over these details with you. Our phone number is 650-508-9878.
