Kidizens Belmont

My daughter (8 yrs) just completed a two week day camp and really enjoyed every minute of her time.  At the end of each day she was exciting to show me what her team built and the challenges they completed.

My 8 and 10 year old daughter both loved this camp! Every day I picked them up, they were so excited to show me all the things they had built. They seemed to really enjoy the civics nature of the building and telling me about why they had built particular structures to help their town. I was quite impressed by this camp that it turned out to be a great learning experience. I highly recommend it! I was a bit concerned when I signed up that this would be a mostly boy camp -- my daughters had some girl friends there with them and I noticed a few other girls there who we did not know. It seems like @ 30-40% girls that week, in case you are wondering. Though it didn't really make a difference as they work in small teams anyway.

My (now 8yr old) daughter first attended Kidizens at their week-long summer camp before 2nd grade and loved it!  Since then, she's attended holiday and/or school break workshops and we even had her 8th birthday party there.  Each workshop is a little different, and each time our daughter comes home energized and excited to tell us about what she accomplished and learned.  At her birthday party, all of the girls loved the "Lego Friends/Build a City" theme and were very proud of what they built!  The space was great and Stephen the coordinator facilitated the party in an organized and engaging way.  I love that this program isn't just about Lego, but also really about civics, urban planning, leadership and cooperation.

We found Kidizens on Yelp and decided to celebrate my son's 6th birthday there. Stephen the party coordinator and Alla did a phenomenal job keeping the kids engaged for 1.5 hours and they enjoyed the `Lego Heaven'. They built a city with Ninjagos and didn't want to leave at the end. I highly recommend this place for a birthday party if your children love Legos.

What a neat concept, mixing legos with a SimCity dynamic. We went there for our son's 6th birthday: he loved it !! and so did his friends and his sister.It's a small place which  means you have it to yourself for the party and because kids do legos, it is also one of the quietest and more focused party we ever had (except at the end when they raced using the cars they had built ;-))Stephen did a phenomenal job at keeping them engaged and entertained.I totally recommend the place for your next birthday, especially if your kids love legos as much as ours...
