Here's some information you should know before you speak to these people. If you had just moved here and you're living out of your car or SUV do not tell them this. I did and because of that they canceled my interview and told me to contact them when I find a place and I was more financially secure. Then Allen Barton emailed me to go take classes somewhere else I wasn't going to be accepted no matter what did. I have never been discriminated upon like that for being homeless but now I know how cold and heartless people in Hollywood really are.

Studied there for years and attended many productions, more recently shows directed by Allen Barton. It is one of the best acting schools and theaters on the West Coast.

(Michael Carreo) I started acting classes at the BHP on Vermont about 20+ years ago as a newbie fresh out in California wide eyed kid with a lot to learn. Started off in Rick Podells class. A funny, smart & great man who embodies the energy of a master teacher. You cant fake it. Since I was in class with my brother and having personal issues with that, I transferred to Allen Williams class. Allen again embodying the energy of a master in his field and life. Saw my potential & my pitfalls. The 5 years I attended that school with these elite teachers has served me in ways I cannot begin to express here. I felt seen in ways I couldnt see myself. Forever grateful! Thank you Rick, Thank you Allen Thank you BHP community for such a rich experience of the creative Soul. Felt inspired to check back in and Allen Barton your blogs on the website struck a cord. Thank you for being a mensch and carrying the torch like a true man with a spine, what it means to truly live and not succumb to anyone or anything over your true heart path!
