Excellent customer service! I had a wardrobe malfunction, and walked in to get a seam repaired on my jacket. I was greeted with kindness and Richie fixed my ripped seam within minutes.

Don't ever trust your clothes to this guy. He couldn't even fix a ripped seem in a straight line.

My wife had gifted me a new professional wardrobe after I hadn't needed new clothes for couple years thanks to COVID. I needed them to be altered and her stylist suggested this tailor shop. Even though I live in Santa Monica, which is quite a schlep in traffic (an hour each way), I decided to take that advice because I didn't want to ruin good suits. I needed 3 pants hemmed and a handful of jackets taken in because I was between sizes and couldn't get a perfect fit that wasn't too tight or too large. I arrived to a tiny shop with just one employee who kept telling me how busy he was and made me wait, instead of taking a brief break from his work to help me. Finally, instead of listening to my needs, he immediately told me that these jackets are from 10 year-old style (they're brand new from a very trendy shop!) and would need to be completely dismantled and rebuilt at a very high cost apiece. Insisted that what I had come in for wasn't an issue and dismissed my needs. The price I was quoted was very high but since I was leaving on an important work trip and didn't have time to comparison shop, I accepted it as long as they could have the work done before my trip (which was 5 days away). They said they're busy but promised, in writing, that they'd have it done before my trip, knowing I needed many of the items for my trip. Since my wife works closer to the tailor shop and I couldn't afford 2 hours roundtrip in traffic again, she kindly agreed to leave work a little early to pick everything up. She showed up to discover that not only had the work NOT been even STARTED, but the owner and one employee didn't even REMEMBER my job. When she showed them the work slip, they couldn't recall what I needed done, when though I had been there just days before. They even TORE OPEN THE SEAM of one of the jackets to see if they had actually done the work and realized they hadn't!! My wife, frustrated and losing all trust in them, left and they didn't even offer to fix the seam they'd just torn open on a very expensive BRAND NEW SUIT with tags still attached. Now, 5 days later, and after I wasted 3 hours of my life (including 2 in the car) and my wife wasted over an hour of hers, I have multiple items of clothing which STILL need alterations, including one jacket that has an open seam. I wish I had read the reviews on here before wasting so much time and energy to go to this business. They have poor customer service, and do not act in an accountable manner. I expect far more for a high-priced Beverly Hills tailor. They will never get my business. I encourage you to read all their reviews.
