Claim Jumper Restaurants

I call this special place many times since I like the ambiance that is unique to this restaurant. The staff is awfuly helpful and well trained. The service is certainly efficient. Most important, the food they cook is perfect. I frequent many times and I was always joyful. The rate is modest. I highly suggest this place to to everybody.

I LOVED their ribeye and mac n cheese. My mom got the baked potato with butter and it was also heavenly. We came here on the later side and Janet was still so sweet to accommodate us! We had a wonderful night and will definitely come back again. I highly recommended this place.

If I could give this place a negative score I would. We had a party of 4 (myself, my mom and my 2 minor children) and made a reservation ahead of time. They seated up promptly when we arrived. That is about all they did right. They waiter came over to take our drink order and when my 16 year old daughter could not decide quickly enough as to what she wanted to drink, he asked if she wanted an alcoholic beverage. Really? And he was not attentive at all. He then took our food order and we waited and waited for our food. It finally made its way to the table and was lukewarm at best. It did not taste fresh and the so called grilled veggies were nothing except 2 pieces of squash and some sauteed onions. The loaded mashed potatoes were just covered with nacho cheese.. no bacon, no green onions, nothing.. and I was upcharged for a premium side. When I questioned the waiter he said that is how it comes. They were barely warm too. The chicken stuffed potato was a joke. They sell larger potatoes at Costco. It had deli style shaved chicken on top (not grilled as expected). Just pitiful. I drove 20 miles to get to this place and have been to other Claim Jumpers around the city. This one gives all the others a bad name. And to make it worse, the portions were very small.. not what Claim Jumpers is known for!! I would not waste my time here ever again!!

I can't tell you abut the food. We had a reservation and they told us it would be an hour to hour and a half wait. Apparently they were WAY overbooked because of an issue with online reservations. Pretty disappointing!! We left!!
