I am so pleased to offer an account my experience with this reliable, neighborhood and Women-Owned business...so let me clear my throat! I have patronized this business since I first moved to Burbank in 2009. The owner has a humble, kind and a gentle soul. She is resourceful and dedicated to her business. The location hosts convenient curbside parking The owner gifts loyal patrons with a wonderful ink pen each December. Alterations are performed on site (Note: its best to take the time to get sized so that when you return to pick up your items they are ready for you). I just picked up two pair of work slacks which were impeccably pressed and carefully covered. (#gratefultohaveajob) Thank you Thrift-D-Luxe! Like my brothers and my sisters in Ukraine, Senegal, Malaysia, Australia, Nigeria, Belize, Equador...I got love and well wishes for you. I am proud  to support this Women Owned, local and reliable dry cleaning service.The owner is humble and sincere.   I have dropped off my clothing many a times since 2009 and have been very appreciative of the service.  I was blessed with a complimentary hand crafted cloth mask at the beginning of the pandemic and went on to purchase many others.  I celebrate the tenacity of this fierce entrepreneur to prevail and to preserve her dream against all odds.I write to encourage you "Auntie" to continue to chase the excellence you exude within every fiber of your being and we, your most loyal patrons, will support and respect you because that's what God says we should do.In the matchless name of Jesus   I pray!

I needed some dresses altered for a few events that were coming up, along with many dry cleaning items. The dry cleaning items, fine. One dress was needed a week before the other. Upon picking up the dress, I noticed it was still large on me so I took it back to have it fixed and she told me it would be ready by Sat. I ended up wearing another dress and didn't go back Sat. The following week (Wed) when I went to pick up my second dress I needed for Friday, she told me that because I didn't pick up my first dress she fixed, she didn't alter the dress and refunded my money. Keep in mind two days before a major event that I had to attend. I was livid as you can imagine. It is a place of business and it is my right to go pick it up as I please. She took it personal and didn't bother to call me to let me know she wasn't going to fix my dress. On top of that, she gave me attitude and asked why I didn't pick it up. Really?? I did not know we had a "date" and I stood her up! Unbelievable.. never going back there ever again even though it's close to home and convenient.She always did have a horrible attitude anyway!
