Gwen Chua is absolutely the best!  My family met Gwen at one of his Open House and we instantly felt comfortable working with him. He is very kind, patient, helpful and very knowledgeable.  He asked a lot of questions and took the time to understand what we were looking for, our situation and experience.  He was very thorough and explained every step of the process.  Pointed things out that we normally did not pay attention to and suggested for us to just keep it in mind.  We did not have a lot experience fixing or remodeling a house and fortunately, Gwen had a lot of experience with remodeling/maintenance of a home. When buying a home, there are a lot of things to consider and having Gwen on our side made us feel like we were making very informed decisions.  Even with the financial piece, he was able to guide us and answer questions to help us understand what we were getting into. Gwen has been a great resource even after we closed. He has helped us with contractors to do work on the house and provide some suggestions on what we can do to update/remodel. I appreciate that Gwen is very responsive, picks up his phone and replies to my email for questions right away. You definitely get a lifelong real estate resource when you work with Gwen. I definitely would recommend him to all my friends and coworkers at the office.

Gwen helped us with our condo sale in SF earlier this year. In what turned out to be a very lengthy and patience testing escrow, Gwen expertly steered the process to successful completion. He was great with us, kept a calm head throughout and came up with some very creative solutions to problems that just seemed to keep coming. We couldn't have done it without him.

We lived in our home for 20 years and collected a lot of personal items throughout the years. We were preparing for retirement and wanted to update the kitchen and two bathrooms, as well as paint throughout the house to prepare to sell. Gwen consulted with us a few times to discuss the process: what it will take to do the work, pricing estimates, and construction time. We felt overwhelmed with all the work that needed to be done, but working with Gwen helped us a lot. He presented himself well, was knowledgeable, listened to what we needed, and anticipated any potential hurdles we may have. Wow, this guy knows a lot about remodeling, and it was very helpful throughout our time frame. My wife and I had price in mind for our home. We are fortunate that Gwen has sold a few homes in the area and was very knowledgeable about the market and suggested that we try to sell it off-market without doing any of the planned work. He explained how the whole process would be like and what the advantages and disadvantages were. We decided to give it a try since it posed more upside. He marketed the property off-market as I simultaneously worked on my plans to update the property. He held private showings and worked with my challenging schedule. Within a few weeks he was able to get me an offer for a price that I was very happy with plus I did not have to spend any money or time remodeling the home. I did not realize that he also saved me a lot of time and energy by only moving once verse having to move twice with an intermediary home. I am so happy that I worked with Gwen on the sale of my home. He is very personable and without a doubt he is true to his word and delivers on the plan. I am definitely going to refer him to all my friends and family needing real estate services. Thank you so much for all your help Gwen!
