My preschooler (age 4-5) had a great time making artwork, playing outside and learning at Hearts and Hands! It is a lovely little school where the children get lots of personal attention and educational opportunities. My only regret is that due to COVID protocol parents weren't really able to enter the space and interact with the fabulous teachers. Safety first is appreciated, however!

Hearts and Hands is an amazing preschool! I'm an elementary school teacher in town and both my girls went through their program. I loved knowing they were safe and loved while I was teaching. The teachers are caring, dedicated, and experienced. The preschool is beautiful with a lovely shaded playground in the back. My girls loved going there and often still wanted to stay and play when I went to pick them up. They are reasonably priced and have a scholarship program available.

We were so fortunate that our three children attended Hearts and Hands Preschool in Calistoga. The care, education and love they received while there could not be matched. We looked around at other preschools in the area, but we knew Hearts and Hands felt like home from the first. They have amazing staff and community support. Miss Sarah and Miss Denise were favorites of our kids, and I hear that more great teachers have been added to the program. Thank you, Hearts and Hands Preschool, for a loving experience that prepared our kids for success. As an elementary school teacher myself, I cannot stress enough the value of early education, and you won't find a program better than Hearts and Hands!

Hearts and Hands has been great for my daughter. She has made some great connections and the teachers are great! They are always willing to help and answer any questions I have. I like that they go on walking field trips, just about weekly. This helps instill the importance of safety and lets them be part of the community. It has been fun watching the social, emotional, and academic growth my daughter has made while attending Hearts and Hands!

Since it's summer time and my daughter is taking a break from Hearts and Hands (only bc I work at an elementary school and have time off), I thought I'd write a overdue review of Hearts and Hands. My oldest daughter started there September 2013 and she had just turned 3 the month before. We were shakey at best with potty training and she was a newly appointed big sister. Needless to say, there were a lot of things going on and we were looking for a place that would help her build social skills and confidence. Hearts and Hands exceeded our expectations. They were flexible with days and hours. We felt so comfortable dropping our Little Lady off and leaving her in their care (and no one has ever watched her besides close family members). She quickly made friends and all the teachers are great (and I'd like to think I know something about great teachers). Denise, the director, is super friendly and positive. Monica, the main teacher of the older kids (4 year olds) is fantastic, funny and has the perfect style of discipline for our taste. Sarah and Monica, the teachers for the younger kids (3 year olds) are so compassionate, yet firm. They take the kids on outings around town, which I love because it instills a sense of community. I truly can't say enough great things about Hearts and Hands. Our daughter will be going back for her last year in September Luckily, we have a younger daughter who we definitely plan on enrolling there when the time comes!
