Lopez Family Daycare & Preschool

Our three year-old daughter had a very positive experience at Lopez Family Daycare. After being at home for over a year due to COVID it was a big adjustment for her to get back in a social setting with other adults and children. Pilar and Guillermina were the right caretakers to help with this adjustment. Pilar was in regular communication with my wife and me about how to make our daughter feel comfortable away from home. It was very clear she cared about making our daughter's experience a happy one. With our daughter she was warm and encouraging. Soon, our daughter couldn't wait to go to school. Aside from lots of fun play, our daughter picked up some very important skills. Potty training had a been a real challenge for us. After a week at Lopez Family Daycare our daughter was happy and confident doing the "potty steps." We've had only a few accidents since then. Our daughter also had a lot of fun starting to learn Spanish. As we leave a friends house she often signs off with an "Hasta Luego." Finally, Pilar and Guillermina were great at teaching our daughter how to play with smaller children (a huge help since our daughter has a seven-month old little brother). They taught her to be understanding and gentle with little ones that can't play the way bigger kids can. Pilar Family Daycare is a nurturing school run by a conscientious and caring staff. I strong recommend it.

Our son has been with Lopez Family Daycare and Preschool since he was just 3 1/2 months old. Pilars care for the children is second to none. Now two years old, our son wakes up every day asking to go to his Pilars. It is a safe and fun environment with excellent communication with the parents As full-time working parents finding someone you trust to care for your child can be a challenging task, but knowing that Pilar and her wonderful staff are caring for our little man gives us much peace of mind. We know he is guaranteed an enriched daily schedule that includes wonderful home prepared meals, diverse activities, scheduled nap and playtimes...in addition to learning to be bi-lingual. Our two year old already sings his ABCs, counts to 10 in English and Spanish, and is almost fully potty-trained...this is all thanks to Pilar and her caring staff! I cant recommend Lopez Family Daycare and Preschool highly enough.

The best daycare around! Pilar is the absolute best and has been teaching, potty training and making healthy meals for our little tots for many years. My daughter has been with her for over three years, since she was 3mos old, and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!!
