Sheer lack of professionalism and quality. The owner of the firm is egotistical and doesn't treat her clients with any respect.

My husband and I were going to use Blackbird Interiors to redesign our home. However we were quickly turned off by Kathy, the owner. Kathy Blackbird is a sad excuse for an interior designer. She is extremely one dimensional and afraid of color. We should have noticed this from the beginning, her website says it all. I felt sorry for her employees whom she completely disregards although they do all the work. They don't even receive credit on her webpage and aren't included in the "team". She only lists herself. Her absorbed, self-serving attitude was yet another red flag. It took weeks to see any real progress from her and she is impossible to contact due to the fact that she is always "traveling". Leaving her poor employees to pick up her slack. Overall I would say she is incredibly unprofessional and certainly not worth the money. Take your business somewhere else if you want the job done right.
