Really was one school! Teaches even about no bulling people and how to stand up for them self! Great nice staff! Recommend

I went here in the early 90s for 3 years. I had special needs...anything after kindergarten grade was a nightmare teacher-wise. I had a combo class teacher named ms noise and gave me nightmares. She made me feel like I needed to request to stay back a year.

Carmichael elementary needs a big shake up! There is a few awsome teachers, but they also have some of the worst I've ever seen. I Have raised three children, now with my grandchildren im horrified with some of the situations we've either been involved with or have heard about from other parents. Some parents who have got involved because they want to protect their children are the biggest problems. For awhile there was an awesome principal but she's no longer there the new one plays politics seems like she's just trying to dodge the bullet most of her day and really has no positive influence or control. Their is a lot of favoritism again politics. If you move to this school district I highly recommend you find other sources of education if you want your child to thrive. Starting with kindergarten till third grade it's been a huge heartache and disappointing experience for the children and families. And the secretary is very rude!

My son attended the school for no longer than a month and his lunch kept getting stolen by some kids and he came home with a black eye which none of the staff reported or gave me a notice that my son was injured at the school the principal didn't really care that my son was bullied and took no measures to ensure that it could not happen to another kid or Consequences for the person or the adult who were responsible for watching over him she also seen races when I came to bring the incident to her attention she was smiling in my face with a huge grin and saying don't worry I would not recommend this school to minority kids most of the population after school is Caucasians so it is a Caucasian dominant School that shows no disregards or respect to the minority parents or children.
