ADT Commercial

Bad product, horrible customer service. We have had ADT for 20 years and never used it much. We recently uninstalled our land line. ADT can't connect to our wireless network supported by cable, as they could only use a cell connection. The connection fails several times a week. After 6 service calls and at least 50 connection-error alarms, I called to cancel the service. It cannot be done on their site and you must speak to an agent to cancel. After 45 minutes on hold I finally reach an agent who was so smug and, no matter what I said, tried to up-sell me. Unacceptable. Buyer beware.

Dissatisfied long term customer. Reporting ADT to Better Business & local tv stations regarding the mismanegment of my account. ADT is a company that takes advantage of your trust and then kisses you off when they promise they will make something right. I was told to wait for my refund (over $500) and then received a call from one of their accounting agents, in short, just calling to say.. "no ma'am, we don't owe you your money back." Well I have records & I have many friends in this community and you've taken advantage of the wrong senior citizen!

Be careful what you get yourself into. I thought I was asking all the questions not knowing there was variations and technicalities within the truth. Their rep gus assured me I could cancel anytime but what he didn't tell me is I only had 3 days to do so seems like something he coulda thrown in there when I asked that question. After those three days are up you have to jump through impossible loopholes to be able to cancel. They sold me cameras that record 30 second clips like if I was using snapchat for surveillance. Vivint matched their price and I got way better equipment with way better features (thermostat, better doorbell camera, cameras with deterrent and playback features) Not to mention my vivint rep gave me 45 days to cancel for any reason on a written contract. Take this as fair warning and consider vivint first. And if you're still not convinced their employees like Gus are shady backstabbers well gus also tried to sell me another company's solar panels (suncoast solar) when adt sells solar themselves

My door bell camera stopped working a month or two after installation. But the funny part is I had electric work getting done at my house few month later with a private contractor so we had to remove the main panel thats when I realized that this system is not safe. I didnt get a call from ADT or notification that my system was tampered with. adding more to the story I wanted to change one of the cameras location so we had to cut the cable to move the camera and nothing had happened NO phone call NO NOTIFICATIONS stating hey whats going on in your home ??? I called ADT to ask them!! Hey is there something wrong with my system they said let me check for you. They did find that my panel was tampered with but mentioned that I should have received a call. Wowwww 2 hours passed by and no calls. Than I called I canceled this service. I do not feel safe having this at my house though this will help me protect and watch my kids and my house while Im out. I was so wrong Hello No Adt is not reliable at all.
