Not At too par for Price or Quality.. Its a Shame that their prices are not competitive for Contractors. Bought material from them At high price thinking better quality, Ended up paying more than Home Depot for less quality..

Breach of contract from Door and Window Center as products arrived in a damaged condition. owner refuses to provide replacement 6/9/20 signed purchase order to purchased AAW ****** Mahogany Door, Sill, hardware from *** ******* at Door and Window Center. Install was scheduled for 7/28/20. I paid a 50% deposit of ***** to place the order. Balance to be paid upon completion of install is ******** Issue 1) Upon arrival of installer and the installer unloading the door from his work truck, I noticed a large crack in the moulding that covers the door. As such, I refused the install and immediately contacted Mr. ******* informing him of the problem. Despite my concerns, installer (employee of Mr. *******) and Mr. ******* decided to move ahead with install as it was too late to put existing door back on Issue 2) Work order called for the Sill, Door Shoe & Sill nosing to all be in a nickel finish. What I received and was subsequently installed was silver. Not part of agreement. 7/31/20: Mr. ******* at first refused to replace the door and the properly colored hardware; however, after much back and forth and the fact that he had to meet his portion of the contract, he informed us he had ordered the replacement door and hardware. 8/7/20: Mr. ******* notified us the model and color of our replacement door he had ordered from the manufacturer (AAW) was no longer available. He asked us to select another style/ color. 8/8/20: Although we were not interested in picking out a different model, we went to AAW and were told by the salesman that in fact that same exact door was available in their warehouse and we were able to get it delivered to us in 3-4 weeks. 8/11/20: We notified Mr. ******* of this fact and asked him to purchase the door from the AAW retail location we had just visited at his cost.He agreed to order the door as well as the agreed upon colored hardware. Since 8/11/20, Mr. ******* has given us false dates of the delivery of our items. In fact, he informed us he never ordered our replacements through the retail store which would have guaranteed a 3-4 delivery timeframe. Instead, he ordered it using a wholesale account to save himself money but does not guarantee the customer any delivery timeline.This did not demonstrate goodwill at making good on our contract. In the last few weeks, while trying to get Mr. ******* to commit to our a delivery date. our calls have been hostile where he screams at us and refuses to conduct a conflict resolution conversation in a professional manner. In summary, we have been waiting since 8/11/20 for our replacement. Mr. ******* told us on 9/3/20 would be our delivery date with a "90% confidence rate". When date came and went and with absolute no explanation of the delay, he promised us 9/8/20 would be the new delivery date. That date also came and went with no phone calls or explanations. I feel I am at an impasse with Mr. ******* as he is breaching his contract to delivery the goods and products I paid for and ordered. It is my assertion he does not intend to delivery his end of the bargain and thus is in breach of contract.
