    I recently had the unfortunate experience of using Seventh Generation Moving for my move, and I must say, while the actual moving process went smoothly, the subsequent events left me frustrated and disappointed. Although the team that showed up for packing and delivery was professional, punctual, and handled my belongings with care, the missing items and lack of transparency have left a sour taste in my mouth. Initially, I was impressed with the on-time arrival of the moving team. They efficiently packed my items, ensuring they were well-protected and secure. Likewise, during the delivery process, the team was equally punctual, professional, and even assisted with unpacking and assembling furniture. They were helpful and made the moving experience less stressful. However, the source of my frustration and the reason for this low-star rating stems from the fact that certain items went missing during the move. The company had assured me that nothing would be taken off the truck as it was completely filled, and that the truck would be locked and stored in their yard until the move-in date, five days later. Unfortunately, upon delivery, I discovered that my motorcycle and a box containing expensive women's makeup and hair equipment were missing. When I immediately contacted the company's dispatch to report the missing items, I was met with confusion and surprise. They had no knowledge of the truck being opened or items being removed. This raises serious concerns about the company's claims of the truck being securely locked and nothing being tampered with. Its disappointing to discover that the reality contradicted their assurances. To compound matters, when booking this service they had assured me that additional insurance was unnecessary, and the standard insurance provided would be sufficient. However, this turned out to be nothing more than a joke. The company's negligence in securing my belongings, coupled with their misleading information about insurance coverage, is completely unacceptable. Customer service was a joke. I called daily for 2 weeks and each time was told that someone would call me back by end of day, which never happened. After receiving the laughable moving claim reimbursement I called again to see if the company was willing to offer more compensation but again had to call multiple times to get a hold of someone. And finally when they did call me back I got a combative supervisor who told me it was my fault my things went missing and that I should have paid for additional insurance. Based on the suspicious activity that occurred during my move and the lack of transparency, I cannot recommend Seventh Generation Moving. If you do decide to use their services I strongly suggest you obtain additional insurance and keep a detailed inventory. The unfortunate combination of "missing items" and lack of customer service has severely ruined my experience with this company. I hope this review serves as a warning to others considering using Seventh Generation Moving and that the company takes necessary steps to prevent similar incidents in the future.

    We asked the driver, Orlando, if they will be transferring our belongings from one truck to another. The driver said no. It will stay on the same truck. We also ask Orlando if he will be driving the truck to our new house, and he said yes. When they delivered our belongings, it was on a different truck AND with a different driver! Our belongings were mixed with another familys, and some of the boxes had been gone through and smash. Many of our brand new furniture (not one single scratch) now has dents, scratches, completely dirty or completely broken. We have things that have been in our family for generations and now broken. We took a video of all of our items before it was put into their truck. We will be filing a claim and provide the evidence for these items. Communication is completely off. When they pack our house, they told us next week Friday is when they will deliver. We called the day before our delivery date to ensure then are on schedule and they said no it will be Saturday. Friday came along and they showed up! Im not complaining that they came on the day the were supposed to; its the communication, and the recklessness they had for our things. 7th generation moving; they definitely did not treat our things like their own! I will provide all the photos of our damaged items on this review. It is horrendous.

    This moving company is FRAUD!!!!!!!! They lie about the prices to move they won't allow you access to the storage after they moved your items. The owner is so UNPROFESSONIAL he literally told me "he is Mcdonalds and were complaining about the fries" literally meaning he doesn't care. He has my items over $8,000 of furniture and personal items hostage. He changed the price of the storage when we were previously quoted a price and told us that he has to "retrain" his employee but will not honor the price. He now wants a cashiers check when originally credit card payment was acceptable. He is a CON-ARTIST. THIS COMPANY IS FRAUD!! DO NOT USE THEM PLEASE YOU WILL REGRET IT!
