Worst Experience ever!! Be Very careful Do not use this contractor for any project. Save headaches yourself, i hired Martin Flores for a new pool install at my home in Chula Vista and that was the worst decision I have made. Martin Flores will tell you lies after lies and will not keep Contract sequence The list off issues is to long to list, but just to name a few and most critical ones, lies about experience and website pictures only one is real, miss manages money and will use money you pay him for your project to fund other jobs and he wont have money to finish yours, if you bring up a concern or an issue he will say "No worries it will be taken care later" and will never fix them, that is one of the reasons he will not give you a written warranty his mistakes on your job will cost you thousands of dollars to fix with a new contractor, cannot maintain schedule, doesn't clean up site at all will leave your house in ruins and will cost thousands to put back the way it was. This man is a fraud and should not be trusted. He will leave your precious home with debris open ditches etc. and is 100% uncapable of following direction and then will demand you pay for his countless mistakes. This man should not have contractors lic. and should not be in business. Very poor workmanship, No Quality at all I will not give him the opportunity to finish project not even for free. We recommend for any pool, cement, block, and garden work. We have known each other for more than 12 years and worked with his company collectively and shared jobs in San Diego County. Martin and his team were great! Professional, hard working, timely and very nice. Our resurfacing job came out great. The price was reasonable as well. We will definitely use Flores Construction for our swimming pool needs. Service: Swimming pool resurfacing

Martin and his team did a great job constructing our entire landscape with a dipping pool/fountain. Our backyard slopes up and was a bit of a challenge to design but it was executed very well. Some of our neighbors saw our yard soon after and even came over to take pictures! Martin provided us with a quote earlier this year. He was very professional and honored it even after inflation hit. I paid him in full beforehand to help with his costs. He never ran away, always answered my calls, and made sure our yard is complete as planned. He is an honest man who keeps his commitments. We ran into a few issues here and there which is typical in construction (I work in the construction industry so I know problems always happen!). But I trusted in his experience and now we enjoy our beautiful backyard! It was a pleasure to work with Martin and his team! The job is done but he still calls regularly to make sure everything is working well. And I'm glad to see him or his son Eric when they visit to check on the pool system and irrigation! I hired Flores Construction/Swimming pools for a new pool install at my home in San Diego and that was the worst decision I have made. Martin Flores (Owner) presents himself as an expert in all construction types and nothing could be further from the truth. The project was a small pool and was not a complicated project by any means however, Mr. Flores seemed to make it more complicated than necessary. The list off issues is to long to list, but here are a few. Defiant, threating, poor workmanship, does terrible quality work and lies and says this is how it is supposed to look, lies about experience and website pictures are all fake, miss manages money and will use money you pay him for your project to fund other jobs and he wont have money to finish yours, his mistakes on your job will cost you thousands of dollars to fix with a new contractor, cannot maintain schedule, doesn't clean up site at all will leave your house in ruins and will cost thousands to put back the way it was. This man is a fraud and should not be trusted. He will destroy your home and is 100% uncapable of following direction and then will demand you pay for his countless mistakes. This man should not have contractors lic. and should not be in business. If you hire him please know what you are getting yourself into and make sure you have money set aside to hire someone new to fix his mistakes and redo your project. His quality of work is that of what is done in 3rd world country. This type of contractor is exactly the reason contractors get bad reputations. If you do elect to work with him please check references. He will not give you any because he has never done a job good enough to get one a good one. I ended up tracking one of his down and the other person had nothing good to say and has refused to even let Mr. Flores finish is project. After hiring him and now firing him I am left with a mess to clean up that will cost me well of $20K to fix and finish. Fraud, con, and a liability to have at you home!!!!! Stay away. I am more than wiling to speak directly with whomever is in a similar situation or is thinking of hiring him. Service: General construction
