Learning an instrument as an adult isnt always easy but Sean is a great instructor and very patient. Ive tried drums and piano with VS Music Studios and Sean has been a knowledgable, adaptable teacher for both!

Sean is really a super star in working with kids. I have two children. One is doing acting lessons, one is doing singing lessons. My girl in singing lessons is difficult at times, but he reroutes her focus so well and helps her to push past her issues. He takes his time with both of them and really makes learning fun. I love hearing the kids laughing while they are learning. It's so good to hear them having fun and practicing what they love at the same time. I definitely recommend this studio.

For the past 4.25 years, I've had the absolute joy of being a student at VS Music Studios (VSMS). Having taken adult singing lessons, acting classes, and even ukulele sessions, I can't begin to express how much I've grown and improved across all three art forms. What makes VSMS truly special is the warm and welcoming environment created by Van and Sean, the owners and instructors. They're not only experts in their fields, but also incredibly patient and passionate about what they do. When I first began singing lessons, I was quite nervous about my abilities as a terrible singer (which was confirmed by several people throughout my lifetime). However, the supportive atmosphere at VSMS quickly put me at ease. Their personalized approach made learning not just effective, but also enjoyable. My vocal lessons are something I look forward to on a weekly basis it's like (music) therapy. Not to mention, they're flexible with scheduling and able to accommodate both virtual and in-person lessons at either of their studio locations (Westminster and Costa Mesa). At VSMS, the vast range of musical opportunities includes everything from vocal training and instrument mastery (e.g., ukulele, drums, guitar, etc.) to seasonal recitals and even the chance to perform at local festivals. And during the summer, they have group classes for kids to let loose and explore the exciting world of dance, beat boxing, and acting. But it's not just the music programs that shine at VSMS it's Van and Sean's dedication to nurturing creativity and artistic expression that puts their studio on another level. They go above and beyond by organizing occasional master classes with industry professionals, giving students a chance to learn from the very best. Plus, their seasonal acting classes for adults are an absolute blast! Through improv exercises and monologues, both aspiring actors and non-performing artists like myself are encouraged to step out of our comfort zones and embrace our imaginations. These classes allow you to cultivate confidence, stage presence, and quick thinking skills invaluable traits no matter what career path you choose. My time at VS Music Studios has truly been transformative. The exceptional guidance, the wide variety of classes, the countless opportunities for growth, and the warm and friendly community that surrounds VSMS are simply unmatched. Van and Sean have created a nurturing environment where individuality and creativity thrive. Overall, if you're seeking an amazing experience where you can grow as a musician, performing artist, or just as a person, I wholeheartedly recommend VS Music Studios. If you want to learn how to sing or get better at singing you should check out VS Music Studios! Sean and Van are a wealth of knowledge and each lesson I learn something new. I wish I would have found them a long time ago! They work with any style, genre and language you want to sing and personally they are a delight to work with. Give VS Music Studios a try!
