Do not buy or rent from people who do not use permits or follow stipulations or hire real trade professionals there is a property on del Monte Rd that has black mold a leaky roof and a messed up floor due to the failing of the foundation the entire home is breaking in half You can follow the crack all the way The floor is all messed up making it difficult for the elderly disabled tenants to get around They associate and use a property owner who illegally charged rent under threat of eviction during the pandemic when no one else had to pay rent while preaching religion and over charging for unfit units that do not pass inspection and has no tenancy rental permits. She said she would help the disabled guy there and promised him a proper section 8 hame. Then left him hanging to almost be kicked out illegally by the same slumlord Which is who they used to hire Unlicensed untrained workers that aslo is being sued for refusing to pay a disabled worker by the state You shouldn't take the word of review on the web but you can go to Del Monte road and look at the yellow beach cottage yourself The housing market prices are falling dramatically do yourself a favor wait a while and inspect things closely Don't wind up making a purchase you will regret when things are much more expensive and difficult to obtain for repair

They changed their name, probably for some scammy reason or to get away from all the bad reviews they used to have. Check out their original name "North Woods Realty" to see legitimate reviews of these agents and their organization. Here's my review, which I think they had removed. I rented a home through North Woods Realty- now called Reel properties, but in the same location with the same employee list, for 4 years. During that time, I had a lot of difficulty whenever repairs needed to be done. They simply refused to repair issues with the property (such as the backyard fence falling down, a broken bathroom faucet and even black mold coming from the attic). When I made repairs myself, Earlene refused to reimburse me for the cost of materials I had to buy. The major problem came when I moved out. I gave 30 days notice and vacated the property on the 30th. Earlene Burley refused to meet me at the house for the walk-through for 22 days. She strung me along, deliberately wasting my time and ignoring all of the emails and texts I sent her trying to set up a time to walk-through the property. Earlene's plan was to string me along until the 21st, hope that I wasn't able to make it on the afternoon of the 21st when she finally texted me back asking me to meet her at the house (how convenient that she finally had time during the last 3-4 hours she thought she was legally required to?) then tour the house alone and stick me with a ton of false repairs and issues that would eat up my entire security deposit and allow her to pocket it. Unfortunately for her, because I vacated the property and turned in the keys on the 30th rather than the 1st, she was legally a day late. And I was able to meet her during the time she was finally free. Her response was to be so unprofessional, hysterical, rude and over-dramatic that I was absolutely shocked. She was shrieking at me, with full on dramatic histrionics. She was throwing her hands in the air, raising her voice and throwing out personal insults to me because I asked for my security deposit back!!!! Her behavior was out of control, disrespectful and beyond unprofessional.

Donna Dewolf has a very delightful disposition she also is incredibly knowledgeable about Del Norte County and all aspects of Realty. I highly recommend her when looking to purchase a home either new or used. Donna works very hard for her clients and I have found she is also very honest and forthright.
