Sherida W. Maybe you should be blaming the parents who are not supervising their children...not the police.

I want to be able to give Danville LEO's a good review for law enforcement. Instead and sadly I can not. Due to the close proximity to Alamo, Blackhawk, and San Ramon there are a lot of teenagers and underaged adults with a lack of supervision. Thus Friday - Saturday evening on the corner of crow canyon, and Tassajara you'll see a lot of them speeding, Running red lights etc; All in an effort to flee from the grocery store where they regularly steal bottles & cases of alcohol. (Clue, who hangs out at the grocery storeIf they did regular patrols they'd catch an abundance of over privileged youth behaving badly. Might even figure out the pattens so they can see where they are going (in conjunction of adjacent cities LEO'S. Just cause it's a " affluent " area they overlook the everyday crimes that happen in the area. Do better! BTW the youth are predominately asian, middle eastern and caucasian. Sadly the community including the Police look the other way!

The negative reviews on here are a joke. Nothing but people whining because they didn't get their way or didn't like what the big mean police man said and can't seem to comprehend the police have a job to do. I applaud the Danville PD for the job they do. They are an extremely proactive and visible PD. People will never truly know how much they do for the community, but in comparison with other agencies (who are short staffed, busy, and doing more with less), Danville goes above and beyond to keep Danville the safest city in California (eastbaytimes.com/2020/03…). I am proud to live in Danville knowing these cops are keeping our town safe.
