We are very pleased with Sarah Orr. She guided us through a very difficult guardianship issue for our grandsons. The issue took more than a year to unfold. She was there, on time, fully informed, and very friendly yet professional. Sarah helped us see the most important underlying issues, and she told us clearly when she thought we were off base or had unrealistic expectations. She was willing to do what we wanted, while providing relevant guidance on how the system works; something we knew nothing about. She spoke down to earth non legalese language , and helped us understand how and when to proceed , when to wait, when to fight, and when to settle. We are very pleased to recommend Sarah Orr. Sarah was incredibly helpful in counseling me regarding my options, and helped me avoid a court battle by offering negotiating strategies. I was able to come to a settlement outside of court. I appreciate Sarah's fairness and honesty every step of the way. If I could give her more stars I would!!

No one likes to be in the position of going through a divorce. However tough, it does help to have someone like Sarah involved in the process. If you're reading this you're probably wondering what your next steps are. I would stop here and hire Sarah's services. My ex and I were married 18 years and with that comes children, debt and assets. In short, a lot to unravel. Sarah is not only a mediator but a legal expert as well. What she does well is listen and then works to give her opinion with both parties best interest in mind. When the conversation begins to steer in the wrong direction (bickering etc.), Sarah does well to keep things on track. My ex and I were able to get things done amicably with Sarah's help. Not to mention saving thousands of dollars by not having to hire lawyers and battle in court. Well done Sarah!

My ex-wife and I originally contacted Sarah about a mediated divorce (2 parties, one lawyer). We knew we didn't want to play the "who has the meanest lawyer" game of a regular contested divorce. But, Sarah quickly realized my ex was not in a position to go through the mediation process, and suggested we try collaborative. This turned out to be a wonderful option. We each had a lawyer (Sarah was mine) and coach (licensed therapist) to walk us through the process and support us. We then had a neutral financial advisor & child specialist to walk us through the finances & child support options. It was a longer process, but we each got input on how things would be split, and I feel we had a much better and amicable outcome than having a judge decide such things. Sarah was wonderful through the whole process and I can't recommend her or collaborative divorce more.

My ex-husband found her online to serve as a mediator for our divorce. I wish we had gone with another attorney. Not only was she horrible as an attorney but she's unreliable and very openly rude. She told my husband at the time that I was out to get every penny I could out of my husband and she said this while I was present. She also kept telling us that she would have certain things ready by a certain date but never followed through on it. We ended up firing her half way through our meditation process because she said she didn't know when things were going to get done. This is the person who initially said she had a lot of time to handle our case right away but once we paid her a retainer, all of a sudden, she got super busy and always had to go to court. So, I ended up picking up from where she left off and finishing it myself. One of the worst attorneys I have ever dealt with.
