Bad experience, my mother-in-law was there and they didn't treat her well because of them, she ended up in the hospital 5 times. The last time I told the nurse Gloria that she didn't look good and she said she was going to check her and they told me she's fine. but we were going to call the doctor and I asked them if they called the doctor he said yes after two days it was worse and I told them again and they told me we were going to check her and they went and said there is nothing but we were going to call the doctor doctor and I told her that they had already called her two days ago and the nurse said that she had not called her because she has nothing. I went to talk to the social worker and she told me that she would take care of it and they told her that it was my fault because I I had opened the window and that's why she was sick that day it was raining as I was going to open the window at night it got worse my mother-in-law almost died at the hospital she ended up intubated and when we called to find out which hospital they sent her to the same nurse Gloria answered the call and when we asked to speak to the social worker, very angry, she hung up on them. That place is not good for caring for the sick. That place is for killing people.

My father was at Royal Terrace for 8 months. Everyone working there was very kind, caring, and helpful. My dad would roam about in his wheelchair, do a variety of activities each day from arts/paintings/exercises led by Natalie. He also had a table to do his 500-800 piece puzzles. He chatted with the nurses, staff and residents. They took the time to celebrate the residents birthdays. They included family in their daily activities. I always was greeted with a smile and a hello. Being it is a smaller place, the staff knows everyone's name. It was nice to walk in and be known. My dad was happy and content. He felt like family. He was always laughing and smiling. My dad passed away on May 2,2022 and the nurses and staff were so kind and caring. I feel blessed that I was able to find such a caring place for my dad. I appreciate the care he received. Blessings to the nurses and ALL of the staff at Royal Terrace. Your kindness meant everything to me and my family.

RUN!!! I cannot stress this enough, DO NOT TRUST THIS FACILITY with your loved ones. My family member was fine one day, not fine the next. His CNA that falsely presented himself as a RN had been overmedicating our loved one to the point where he was no longer responsive. They told us he was dying, and only wanted to allow us to stay 30 minutes. This was the first time we'd been allowed in the facility due to covid. I wish we would have seen the real conditions in the facility and treatment of their patients sooner. While there we witnessed a patient escaping multiple times, had it not been for an alarm on the door, I'm not sure any staff member would have noticed their absence. There was also another woman in the hallway that was visibly dirty and undressed/exposed from the waist down. I was very upset to see a patient in that state of undress, especially in a common and very visible area. We asked to have our loved one transferred to the hospital and Royal Terrace refused to call 911. Medical transport finally arrived 5hrs later and wouldn't transport him because he was unstable. Medical transport called 911 and chewed out the staff for not doing it sooner. The paramedics and ambulance arrived and staff from Royal Terrace were nowhere to be found. Eventually someone from the staff emerged and again hid as soon as the firefighters started questioning them. Thank god that after being transfer our loved one made a full and complete recovery. Royal Terrace's actions were reported to the proper authorities. I'm grateful that our loved one is doing well and is now thriving at a different facility. I cannot urge you enough to not choose this place and if your loved one is here, please keep a very close eye on their care.
