This attorney hung up on me because I told her I believed the reason for spousal support was to help equalize the lifestyles between ex husband and wife during the period of time spousal support was awarded. Circumstances such as education, health, job availability, assets, etc. were considered by a judge in determining spousal support. I would not recommend this attorney simply because she hung up on me without provocation when I simply told her what I believed the law to be! Family Code Section 4320 should not be something an attorney should be angry about, but something she should be willing to discuss with a potential client.

I calledl Ms. Graf and spoke to her prior to going into her office.  I was looking for an attorney to represent me regarding a r/o.  She quoted me a price of $1,000.00 as her fee.  I went into details with her regarding the case.  When we discussed it in her office, her fee jumped to $2,000.00.  She went on to tell me I owed her $160.00 for her 1 hour consultation fee.  She told me that fee would be applied towards the $2,000. 00 if decided to retain her.  I told her her website states " 1hour free consultation"  She advised me, she spoke to me on the phone then asked me did I want her to charge me for that too"  She was the first attorney I called.  All the other Attorney's told me their fees would be $2,000.00  She basically lured me in her office with the $1,000.00 fee only to double the price.   The catch was $160.00 fee towards the $2,0000.00.  I decided not to retain her, because her behavior is unethical, I would not want anyone like her to represent me.  I rate her a zero!
