First off, was quoted a price over the phone for a broken car key that miraculously increased almost 200% upon arrival ($120 to $350).
I let the locksmith use my key fob to open my vehicle and in the process of replacing the key he completely destroyed the fob. Ive taken these apart to replace the battery, it isnt that hard to not completely destroy them.
Also for the 45 minute job, were still here an hour and a half later and not done yet.
Edit: almost 3 hours now.
