    My son and I have been going to Mexicali for our dentistry and decided to stay local due to time. It was such a great experience and the Drs were so professional and explained everything with detail. The cost with insurance is a little higher than Mexicali but worth the extra money. The staff was so nice rare in the valleyHighly recommend!

    My experience today was very unpleasant, I made an appointment for my cleaning and I also mentioned I needed some extra work. Upon arrival, they didnt have my secondary insurance, which was provided prior to my appointment. Anyways having my primary insurance I dont have a copayment or any extra fee, I took the day off approximately a month ago for them to try to reschedule me to a later time which is not feasible for me. I truly like the doctors but the communication with the receptionists made my experience completely different as I explained to them my situation. I guess just time to look somewhere else where they truly respect my time.

    The dentist is awesome but the billing has made a couple of mistakes. First onethey billed the wrong tooth on file and had us going to another dentist office to blame them when in fact it was here where the mistake was done and second issue my wife went in for exam and then was told what was needed and cost in order to do work.. we said yes and paid it in full. Come back to finish work and was told we owe $80 for what if when we first paid they said we were all setjust had to wait for Cap to place on. Their excuse was the insurance only paid a certain amount. Surprise charge!! No one does that. They exam you and then tell you how much and you decide to do the work you shouldnt receive a surprise bill after they made you pay for it in full before. Everyone watch your billskeep an eye out!! Too bad the Dentist is awesome. Nice response you guys made but.out of hundreds of doctors, dentist , eye doctors etc.this has never happened. I just went to my sons dentist and they examined him right there and checked with insurance, gave a price and done.. no surprise. What you forgot to mention in your response was the screw up about blaming another Dentist for your billing error on first issue.back to second issue, the EOD shows the charge that we were billed and then another charge that mysteriously appeared on the same day which is what you guys are charging now. I wanted to see what your response was before I said anything about the mystery charge. You guys did this with your first mistake and tried to lie about it. You guys made us blame another dentist and call our insurance and finally realized you guys made the mistake. I know youre not the only incompetent office staff but customer service goes a long way and we will be going elsewhere. People check your bills and Im sure you will find mistakes even if you have a good insurance like ours. Beware Beware !!! The girl at front desk with glasses doesnt know what she is doing, she made us go blame another dentist for something that they did!!! And now she is blaming us. We flat out asked her is that all we had to pay and she said yes. We paid $491 and then got the surprise. They charge you if your insurance doesnt pay because its too much that the dentist is asking for. Watch your bills because they dont accept or take responsibility for their screw ups. Bad Customer service! They lost a customer for $50 actually the whole family now and the rest of our family when we tell them what happened. For $50 bad for business One more thing we just found out after going to another local dentist is that you guys left a piece of tooth in my wife gum and we were told since you guys got paid for it, we have to go back to you. Well see what you guys can do since you made another mistake.

Hello, we are sorry to hear about your insurance underpayment. We always strive to give the most accurate insurance estimate during the initial treatment planning appointment, but it is important to understands that the estimate is just that, an estimate. Unfortunately, dentists have no control over the exact payment amount from insurance companies, and although we are very thorough is reviewing each patients benefits and allowances, there is always a possibility of a denial or underpayment that the patient will be responsible for. There is a notice at the bottom of all signed treatment plans stating such, and this is standard amongst every dental office nationwide. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience, but this is a reality of working with insurances. In the future you can always request your dental offices to pre-authorize all insurance claims. This will ensure 100% accuracy of the covered benefits and amounts. However, this delays treatment and is usually only done in complex cases where a possible denial is suspected.
