I called Home Depot with a question concerning my drip irrigation system. The "expert" salesman in charge of that department made it very clear that he was not interested in helping me over the phone. In fact, he ultimately claimed point blank that the question COULDN'T be answered over the phone. I called Green Acres with the same question and within 60 seconds, I had been connected with the irrigation specialist, Eli, and my question was answered. Furthermore, five of the eight 1/2 inch valves I purchased at Home Depot ended up leaking immediately and they were not the kind of valves that can be uninstalled and reinstalled. Purchase your valves from DripWorks (online) or Green Acres (Folsom). They are the kind that can be reworked and reused and seal tighter.
