I loved all the nurses and aides in the chemo lab. I was so depressed when my insurance was apparently no longer covered that location. I am now going through cancer again and am terrified. I wish I could go back.

I started coming to this office to get an iron infusion. Due to being severely anemic I was not able to get my surgery done so I was referred to them. Dr Do has been attending me and I am very happy with his service, he is great at explaining everything. My first infusion went great! Shortly after, my iron was up at a level my surgeon approved and was cleared for surgery. The staff is nice and sure they are always busy but at least for me I always get treated well. I guess you get what you give. Please be nice to the staff they are working hard. Super busy all the time, be grateful to even get treatment. There is no need to be inpatient they attend so many people daily. I appreciate them so much.

Compassionate Cancer Care - while the name of this medical group implies a high level of compassion, the staff fell short of meeting the expectation. Here's an update review from a family member of a current patient (with the same doctor for years). First and foremost, if you have a generous amount of time to spare for routine office visit, then Compassionate Cancer Care might be the right place for you and your family. The wait times were incredibly long, stretching a routine office visit to an exhausting 2-3 hours at times. The excessive waiting period can be quite frustrating/exhausting, particularly for individuals with pressing commitments or those who are already dealing with the emotional and physical toll of cancer. Furthermore, we were disappointed with the unprofessionalism displayed by the front desk staff in person and over the phone (not all of the staff and normal occurrence but often enough that it's noticeable). Dealing with rudeness is never pleasant, especially in a medical setting where empathy and understanding are crucial. The negative attitude and lack of compassion from the staff only added to the stress and anxiety of the patients and their families. Another area that needs significant improvement is the accessibility to the doctor for urgent matters. It's always a struggle to get a hold of the doctor/nurse practitioner when urgent concerns arose. Receiving timely medical advice or attention is of utmost importance when dealing with cancer, and the difficulties we faced in reaching the doctor were disheartening. Additionally, the phone system at Compassionate Cancer Care needs urgent attention. We experienced the frustration of having to call repeatedly, often 4-5 times, only to be put on hold for an extended duration of 15-30 minutes. To make matters worse, our calls would occasionally be dropped before we could even speak to someone. This level of inefficiency and lack of reliability is simply unacceptable, considering the gravity of the situations patients and their families may find themselves in. In conclusion, Compassionate Cancer Care has the potential to live up to its name, but it requires significant improvements in various aspects. The staff needs to demonstrate a higher level of empathy and professionalism, the accessibility to the doctor should be improved, and the phone system needs to be more reliable and efficient. We hope that these issues are addressed promptly so that future patients can receive the care and support they truly deserve during such challenging times.

We have had wonderful experiences with Compassionate Cancer Care located in Fountain Valley, CA. The staff at the office have always been friendly and helpful. We have had to use them on multiple occasions. I, myself, had been diagnosed with testicular cancer when I was in my 20's and was treated by Dr. Jhangiani, before he formed Compassionate Cancer Care. Then in 2005 we found out that my mother had pancreatic cancer and given 90 days to survive. I then reached out to Dr. "J" regarding my mom and with his intervention, my mom survived a good 7 years. Now here we are 10 years later and Dr. J is my 96 years young, dad's PCP, and is keeping him well. There have been times when with my dad he was not well, as he is aged, and when I would call the doctor office, explained, the office would get us in.

Chaotic! They treat you like a piece of meat starting with the manager. There's nothing compassionate about them. It's my way or the highway mentality or go somewhere else. All they do is inject with chemo and you're on your own with the side effects. I'm left more damaged then when I started. Now I have all kinds of side effects and can't function. Dr. Eric Lee doesn't want to take responsibility and and doesn't know what's wrong with me and left me to fend for myself when he's the one that damaged me in the first place. I'm now forced to see all these specialist at my expense while he gets to go about his business. It's scary when the doctor that's treating you doesn't even know the ramifications of what their doing. Are an experiment to them? I'm sorry I ever went to this place. They have no accountability for their actions.
