So Cal Arborists

So Cal Arborists removed a large, invasive-rooted sweetgum tree in my courtyard. It was between my house and a low wrought iron fence, and my garden. They did a fabulous job! Didn't hit the roof or the fence, or damage my shrubs. They removed the roots (some were as large as the trunk!) and ground down the stump. Raked all of the debris, including sweetgum balls that bounced all over the yard, and swept up everything. Left me with a tidy layer of sawdust mulch spread neatly and evenly across the area. The crew were respectful and hard workers. The entire job was finished in about 2-1/2 hours! They are licensed and insured. I was pretty anxious about the job and the cost, but watching them work safely and efficiently was fascinating, and my confidence grew very quickly. Debated about having them only remove the tree, but it turned out that having them remove the roots was worth the price! I'm really glad I did that! Obdulio is the one who started the company about 35 years ago, and he semi-retired last year. His son Alex is running the company, while Obdulio does estimates. Roberto climbed the tree and did the cutting, while the other guys eased the limbs to the ground, cleaned up and processed what he cut down. They were a great team.

These guys were awesome.  The day I called for a quote they came out and looked at my trees and gave me a reasonable quote.  That same week they came out the day I requested and they removed the trees quickly and efficiently and cleared away all debris.  It was like the trees were never there - which is exactly what they promised.  I am looking forward to hiring them again in the near future to do some tree planting and other landscape work.

Firstly, cowardly and bad reviews on Yelp hurts businesses and those who work for them.  For those of you that dish out bad reviews, let me know where you work so that I can come and review YOU.  The Yelp mafia should allow comments on reviews to even the playing field and make the bullies accountable.Regarding SoCal Arborists, they came to trim two massive trees yesterday.  The price and the mega work to get this job done was good.  If any tree trimmer misses an appointment, I'm sure they're having a hard time finding guys to bust their humps on your yard.  Offer any tree trimmer double and they'll make your stupid appointment.  Here's a pic of our trees.

They came out the same day to give a quote; and when I wanted to schedule  had time within a week.  We had them remove a large tree near our cement patio; grind down the remaining stump; grind down the cement corner that the tree lifted; and trim a huge White birch over our pool.  They cleaned up everything; including the pool; didn't leave any debris; and didn't break any of my garden decor.   Highly recommend Obdulio, Alex and his crew.
