Don't go here to put your pet to sleep. The doctor fit me in that day but when I tried to ask her ONE question she became extremely rude to me and my family and would not let me get any words in. She spent more time going on a tangent about me having a question and wasting her time than the time it would have taken for her to answer. Of course im going to ask questions, this is a literal life or death situation and I want to feel sure of my choice to never seeing my furbaby again. So I decided to go elsewhere because it became an emotionally unsafe environment for me to say goodbye to my baby. I also found out that she misdiagnosed him when I went to another vet. It's already hard enough to say goodbye, why not have some compassion instead of cruelty in that moment? Truly a nightmare. The staff was very kind though.

Business Response on Google Mar 8th, 2024
Hello Mariah, Sorry that you are not happy about the experience provided to your pet. Accept our deepest condolences for your loss. Your family member brought the pet for the first time and based on the physical appearance of the pet, extremely underweight recommended bloodwork and x ray. The family member only approved the bloodwork and declined imaging. Based on the bloodwork your pet had severe renal failure with very high white blood cell count. Without you having a functional phone out of the way multiple times the doctor and staff communicated with you via several emails about the pet's condition. As a last resort we tried a strong antibiotic which we have to borrow from another local hospital. We allocated several hours out of our busy schedule to care for your pet. Since the pet's health condition is progressing worse without doing minimum x ray, we discussed quality of life care via emails. You and your other two family members came for end of life care and declined it despite the pet's having breathing difficulty left requesting only pain medication. Doctor patiently repeated the lab results and explained the situation several times. Unfortunately the doctor didn't have any other option other than sending the pain medication per your request. Doctor was very uncomfortable and sad when you tried to find the answer to postpone the end of life care when the pet was suffering . We learned that your pet was diagnosed with a lung tumor at the emergency next day and you elected end of life care. Sorry for your loss. Hope you would find the best vet services for your pets. All the best.
