While the issues on my vehicle has been addressed, I did not find the experience pleasant. My service advisor was professional. But I did not feel the level of respect and care I have felt servicing other vehicles, not to mention Porsche. Every communication seems to be a money grab attempt. There was no transparency in the labor cost. For many service items, only the part cost was communicated to me in advance. For other, the final cost greatly exceed the quote (30% - 50% for some) I was told that my car has 2 oil filter (incorrect for my car to my knowledge), without confirmation from technician. It sounded like an attempted to overcharge on my oil change, therefore I declined. I was told the oil leak issue is severe, and was suggested to do a $25k engine disassembly just to diagnose. I declined. Then I was told turns out the fix was actually $300 in part (again labor cost omitted during quote) I was promised cleaning of my car at the end of my service. That did not happen. I tried to use affirm for financing my service, that did not work.

Last week we had our 911 serviced. As always, the customer service was outstanding. Monica was our service provider as before she was spot on and provided us with seamless service. I highly recommend Fremont for your service needs!

Before the pandemic, Fremont Porsche's service center was quite good. In the last 2 years, the quality has severely deteriorated. I noticed an issue with my Boxster's headlights pointing too low and brought them in to have them fixed. They charged me $300 and made it even worse. They said, I quote: "We don't work at night so we can't drive with the headlights." They also insisted on making me pay for the second diagnostic. In general, on multiple occasions, I have been unable to get my car back because my service adviser Monica was unresponsive for multiple business days. I have waited on hold multiple times just to be disconnected, and I have had to physically uber to the dealer to ask another service adviser to retrieve my car for me. When I brought these concerns up in the satisfaction survey, I did not hear back. I eventually gave up and brought my car to a real mechanic, who noticed the HBA sensor was broken. Im baffled that a service technician could hear headlight beam is wrong and not think to check the HBA sensor.
