This place has become money grabbing practice since Dr. Tisdale retired. They have the status quo carousel of doctors. The last one (Halah) is a complete and utter HACK. She failed to read my dog's chart. She had no idea he is Type 1 Diabetic. NEVER TRUST A VET WHO DOESN'T HAVE PETS. Avoid this place at all costs. I wish Dr. T would come back.

My cat was admitted on Saturday morning after she was not eating on Friday. Dr. Jawa Sanchit did a load of tests on my cat (x-ray, ultrasound, blood test, etc.), which came back that my cat was diabetic and she was extremely constipated. He gave laxatives for my cat, but on Sunday, my cat was still not pooping and extremely lethargic. Dr. Halah Naji took over the case. At no point, did any of the doctors tell us that we should admit my cat to the ER. I am NOT from California, so I thought Fremont Pet Hospital was equivalent to a "hospital" - in my state, they are called clinics, and hospitals are something totally different. Dr. Halah consistently updated us and said our cat's condition was improving slightly each time (energy level was improving, peed), but my primary concern was my cat was still not pooping after 5 days...which Dr. Halah said it was because my cat had no energy. My cat was still on IV fluids, and on Monday night, Dr. Halal said she was hopeful that we would be able to take our cat back on Tuesday. Well Tuesday rolled around, and Dr. Halal said she was hopeful we would take my cat Wednesday evening... On Wednesday morning, my fianc got a call that over night, my cat apparently had "enough energy" to bite off her catheter and turned yellow. My fianc gets a call to send our cat to the ER. Before he could reach Fremont Pet Hospital, my cat died of liver failure. At no point was I aware that my cat wouldn't be cared for 24/7, and had I known, I would have sent my cat to a place that would cared for her around the clock. I am deeply devastated.

The staff were very quick and friendly. Dr. Jawa did an amazing job helping us with our cat's check up and educated us on things to help as first time cat owners.
