Contacted Jon on a Monday explaining how I had a project pending that would require a quick turnaround time. Jon was very accommodating and was able to schedule me for the following day. Jon was quick to respond and was very thorough in his review and provided the report as agreed. I found Jon to be very knowledgeable , friendly and very helpful in sharing his process and providing additional feedback. I appreciated his quick responses to calls, texts or emails. Jonathan performed an appraisal of my home to evidence damage that I suffered as a result of catastrophic flooding. The IRS provides that we may deduct Casualty losses which is critical if your insurance isnt going to come through for you. The difficulty is finding someone with the experience and skill set to evidence those losses in a before/after Casualty appraisal, which serves as supporting documentation for the IRS. When I contacted Jonathan about my dilemma, he immediately knew what to do, met me at the property to perform his due diligence and provided the report within a week. My CPA was impressed and I am optimistic the report will support my deduction and generate cash from my tax return so I can afford repairs sooner. Jonathans report was thorough and specific. I highly recommend Central Valley Home Appraisal.
