I currently have reservation with this hotel. Let me just say, I have never interacted with such rude, and non helpful front desk staff. When checking in my co-worker who I am sharing the room with checked in before me. This led to the night front desk staff running MY credit without authorization. When I happened to see my roommate (co-worker) at work and was informed of this I made sure to go directly to the hotel and ask for a release of my card as they charged a total of 2,591.00 without me approving it. Lets fast forward two day to which I was able to finally speak to the manager of this hotel only for it to be on the phone for a brief moment. To which she stated that it would be reversed and should only take a couple days. Well I first brought this to attention on Monday (1-15-24). As of right now(1-19-24), I was charged AGAIN the total of 2,591.00 and a second charge of 242.00. I have never seen such and unorganized staff/rude service as hotel staff. I will definitely be reaching out to corporate and letting them know how this hotel is ran and doesnt want to help the guest her get their money back when its not authorized or ran with out the card holders permission. Please make sure you use a card youre willing to lose money out of and be told theres nothing you can do till the banks communicate on how to send money. And that on their side aka La Quinta that its all good when its in fact not all good on your side.
