I don't even want to give one star for this apartment complex. It's been years since this has happened but this apartment was absolutely TERRIBLE & still traumatizes me from this past experience during Covid-19. We suffered from various noise problems: downstairs, kids running like every night & them playing music loudly, side-to-side the noise of the TV with full volume on midnight, and the worst of all unit 608. I still remember clearly how horrible and stubborn that guy was, making my family and I suffer everyday from morning till midnight - stomping, riding gym bicycles, running on the treadmill, playing music, singing and many more ways to bother us clearly with an intention. Tried talking to them first before to go talk with the manager face-to-face but they did not seem to care because nothing has gotten better. So we even wrote him a letter but still no difference. This guy has been bothering us since like 5AM in the morning till 2AM in the midnight and my family and I are still traumatized from him. We tried to seek help to the manager but she didn't seem to care because all she said was - you should go talk to them directly. We even tried to record the noise that we suffered from and sent emails but all she advised was to talk to unit 608 directly or call the police. Someone might simply call this a "living noise" and we know the difference between the noises that are considered as a living noise and that are not. This unit 608 guy, he is truly a human form of devil and this guy is very VERY stubborn. We still have pictures of the mails that we sent him & emails that we sent to the manager at that time and I am writing this review after years have passed because everyday I think of the time when we lived here, I understand what the living hell truly is. When we couldn't take this anymore and decided to leave, the manager even took all of deposit money from us. We did not have to move out from that complex if there was any difference made while we suffered in hell everyday from morning till midnight. If anyone cared enough and was considerate of our situation, we wouldn't have any trouble living there. But since no one listened and did not provide any help even though begged & sent all the evidence we had no other choice to move out maybe after living there for one year. Because we lived there for a year, they immediately took our deposit which felt very ridiculous. Everyone had their hardships during covid and for the manager at the time, I believe her name was Carla, really had to take our deposit money as a resident moving our from suffering whole year from their neighbor, as someone who witnessed it all and did not provide help. Just never move into this apartment unless you want to live in literal hell. stop trying to delete my comment. people has to know the truth about this property.

2 Year of living in this complex review - Pros: - Responsive management: The management is very nice and responsive to requests. My roommate and I have had a few issues but they get resolved within the week or sometimes even the next day. - Good community: Everyone is overall very nice. Some people will say hi to you if you see them enough. The best part is there is no package theft. - Privacy: This complex is up a hill and kind of in it's own street. It's good to not have a bunch of people driving by or wandering. -Good view (if you're in the most west complex): We have a view of the mountains and love it. This is not the case for all complexes though. -Gym: as far as apartment gyms go this one is very good and I used it often. Parking: Parking is easy and everyone has their own spot and sticks to it. There is visitor parking on the hill and it usually has a few spots available. Cons: -No Hot Tub: There is a pool but it sometimes is too dirty to use. They clean it often but i've never used it. -Cold in winter (first floor only): i'm not sure if other units get this as much as we did but during the winter the floor gets very cold and we constantly had the heater running. The heating bill sometime gets to $100-$150+ a month during the winter. - Bugs: I feel like on average i kill 1 spider a week here. Usually daddy long legs. We set up bug traps all over the apartment and many of them have caught multiple bugs over the months they've been up. Other bugs include silver fish and Jerusalem crickets. - Kitchen is cramped: The kitchen is small and cramped. Also in our unit the counter tops and finishes are not the best. - No direct sunlight: Sunlight will NOT shine into the apartment so trying to raise plants sucks. The angle of the building and the over hang of the other apartments and walkways block the sun so the apartment is usually pretty dark. This also is accompanied by no ceiling lights in the living room other than the one on the fan. Despite the cons, i've overall really liked living here and think it deserves a 5 star rating. I would recommend it to anyone looking. Rent is usually a fair price. It's a good location with a good community and clean. Which is hard to find in LA.

I didnt like the manager attention she is unresponsible. I went to the leasing office several times and she wasnt there, so I call her but she didnt answered at all. She didnt informed me about my process of getting an apartment and I at less than a week of moving she finally answered me just to tell me that my application was not accepted. I loss my time and my money. Please dont trust her at all; she will tell you anything just to make you pay for something that you wont have.
