Lucky Bend Lookout Vacation Rental on the Russian River

Lucky Bend Lookout was so tranquil and peaceful under the redwoods trees and by the Russian River! In November we enjoyed the fall colors (completely unexpected and spectacular!) and brisk weather, perfect for a hike at Colonel Armstrong nearby. The cabin was very comfortable with everything we needed and perfect for a girls trip. We were very happy and enjoyed our wine weekend. I highly recommend and look forward to returning with my family (ok, let me be honest, I look forward to returning for another girls weekend!)

We had a wonderful time at our stay at Luck Bend!!! My husband and I, and our 3 kids(11,9,5) all enjoyed the beautiful views and awesome accommodations here. Extremely family friendly!! We went kayaking, paddleboarding, fished, and even saw a family of 5 otters under the dock on the river! Inside the cabin is just beautiful, modern/retro, great lighting, fun fabrics and awesome artwork! The nature surrounding is breath taking. We will definitely be back!!!

We had a great time at Lucky Bend Lookout. The house was well appointed for groups and families. Everything we needed to enjoy the river was there - from inflatable floaties to kayaks to a canoe to a dock. There were also ample toys to occupy the kids inside. The house is laid out well, with the common space separated from the sleeping area so if you are traveling with young nappers, the adults have plenty of room to spread out and enjoy while the kids rest. The house is located just a couple of minutes from a Safeway so it was super easy to restock. The house instructions were clear and the host extremely responsive. We came back from our trip ready to book our next stay and we know to PACK LESS next time because the house is so well stocked! Thank you for a wonderful and much needed family vacation.
