Courtyard Apartments

Good place to live. Apartments are furnished with the basics such as a Over stove Microwave, modern stove, fridge, dishwasher. It's also close proximity to many areas such as Downtown Hayward and many other businesses along Jackson Street which makes living in this neighborhood totally walkable and you can leave your car at home.

Dirty and old apartment. It leaks inside closets, bathroom. My baby got sick from bad smell come out of the wall. The price for the rent they ask for their old and low quality appartment is not fair.

Bad management. I lived in this apartment for over 6 years and I requested the management for maintenance and to fix leaks as well as broken sink but they never show up.

Courtyard Apartments is a great place to live. When you move in, you don't have to worry about the dishwasher, fridge , freezer , microwave and stove oven. They have that covered for you. And additionally they have a pool for your pleasure in the Summer time which is by appointment only due to the pandemic protocols. One thing I like about this property is that I don't have to go around town to wash laundry as there is on site laundry for $2.00 for 30 minutes wash and $1.25 dry for 48 minutes. Additional wash and dry time can be purchased on the machines. there are 3 floors. You need to buy a laundry card for a one time purchase of $5 to store money on it. Minimum purchase is $10 and maximum is $40 The complex recently got new management and she has been nice and super helpful at resolving questions that tenants may have. She has answered my questions to my satisfaction. Also, the maintenance manager has also been helpful at resolving the issues with our apartment when we have called. The one good thing about living here is that this area has lots to discover and it's a short walk or drive to Downtown Hayward. We have a movie theater, farmers market, restaurants a plenty on B Street and more stuff. Think Summer fun leaving your car at home and walking with the family for a day of fun locally!If shopping is your fancy, Southland Mall is a short drive up Winton from Courtyard which also has other places to eat. And Mission Ave too has lots of places nearby so you don't have to travel far. Grocery stores are close proximity. Safeway and Lucky's. Two Luckys on Santa Clara and Mission, Two Safeways, one on Jackson and Foothill Blvd. So if you decide to move here, you essentially have everything you need here to live comfortably and make your shopping experiences convenient.
