SF East Bay (Hayward). Very ube-centric and flan-heavy bakery (or was it because we just gravitated to those items in their shop haha) but all good since the flavors were spot on. We tried: * ube cheesecake topped with leche flan - this was almost perfect except for the crust which could have used a pinch of salt * ube crinkle stuffed with leche flan - a crinkle is already good in itself then you put leche flan, whoa! * ube pandesal stuffed with leche flan - yummy, my only trivial complaint is it's neither a breakfast item because of the leche flan inside but also not dessert because of the pandesal Overall, the leche flan is the star of this bakery but don't get me wrong since the ube was delicious too and I definitely appreciate it had that distinct ube taste and not toned down. I wish they would sell the leche flan and ube pandesal on its own! Prices btw are reasonable - I paid $16 for 4 items so averaging $4 which while not cheap is not one of those ridiculous $6-7 prices per bakery item. Opportunity for improvement is service since no one was manning the counter when I went in and it took two hello's for someone to come out and that someone was very brusque with no warmth at all. Note there is very minimal parking in front so park by Peet's.

This place is okay. The ube tres leches was unimpressive to be honest I wouldn't get that again. The flan ube cheesecake was a bit better I enjoyed the cheescake part but the ube was quite subtle and the flan was on the denser side which was fine. My favorite was definitely the fufflernoodle (i think that's what they called it haha). Best snickerdoodle I have had in a while! I will definitely be coming back just for those. Wish they had more drinks than just the milkshake. I do like their cupcakes from the food trucks! I didn't notice much of a menu when I entered, just some photos around the front which made it a bit confusing to know what they offered and if they were out of anything.
