Einstein Bros. Bagels

Food is good but the service/ wait time is pretty much a dumpster fire. It took about 25 minutes for my one sandwich and 4 people who ordered AFTER me was served their orders first.

The food isnt bad but the service is terrible. It takes them forever to make a bagel sandwich and even if you ordered on the app an hour before, they give people that ordered in store their orders first. Today I placed an order for 12:00pm and it said it was ready at 12:12pm. I walked in at 12:20pm and asked if my order was ready and they said it still wasnt ready. I waited an additional 20 minutes and asked again and the person who originally told me it wasnt ready grabbed a bagel off of the back counter that had been sitting there the whole time. After all of that, my bagel was missing tomato. It was a simple sandwich and they cant make them correctly or in a timely manner.

In my final year here at Cal East Bay and decided to come here last week because I wanted to try. Wasnt to bad. It seems that they take forever to make a bagel sandwich. I decided to come today to get something quick. Website says they close at 8pm. By the time I got there, they said they are closed and I said your website states 8 and the guy then said they close at 6pm and I said there is 5 minutes and the guy told me they couldnt make sandwich and I told him that I didnt want one, just something to drink. If you are gonna close at 6pm, at least post a sign or cafe hours on the door indicating hours of operation. I dont know if they are in a hurry to get home but they should give some curtesy to students about the hours.
