takes forever to get assistance

We wanted to get a new carpet in our bed room so we ordered one here. It took about a week for the measuring guy to come out. Fine. After about another week, the contractors for the floor installation called and we scheduled the floor installation. Awesome. It was for two weeks later, which is less awesome but the home Depot people said to expect as much. The contractors gave us a date but told us the time would be scheduled the day before. Gave us the preinstallation info, asked questions about the relative safety of the job site and that was that. Three days before the installation I found a voicemail on my phone after I got off from work. That's funny, I thought, they weren't supposed to call until the day before the installation. I called them back and asked about my appointment and they told me I didn't have one. Not fine. I told them I had a confirmation email from them I could send back but the lady cut me off and said I didn't have an appointment. Not awesome. Next available appointment is nearly a month later. Its relatively cheap as far as floor installations go though, so they've got that going for them.
