I have a beautiful Chinese kesi (textile art) that my mother left for me. It needed to be properly mounted and framed. I built the large frame with hardwood and decided to have it professionally finished to match the rosewood furniture in my house. I left them a small rosewood table so they could match the tone. They did a beautiful job. The sheen was right on as was the color.

I had recently bought a new overstuffed chair, and one of the arms broke under the upholstery.  I looked around to try to find furniture repair services when the manufacturer refused to stand by their warranty.  Enter Aable Woods.First, in-home service was offered, which was greatly appreciated.  Second, the rates for labor were reasonable.  Third, even though it was late in the day, the time was taken to do things properly.  Fourth, the repair was taken care of with a mininum of fuss, even with my dog coming over to check things out every few minutes.Efficient, reasonably priced, and professional.  Those are words of high praise from me, and they all apply.  If I ever have furniture that needs attention in the future, I'm reaching out to Aable Woods first.

I initially happened upon Aable Woods in August 2018 while looking for a local shop that could restore an antique draw-leaf table that had been residually damaged in my family garage and storage over the last 20 or so years.I was incredibly impressed with the craftsmanship and customer service Brian and Richard provided--especially, the regular updates on the refinishing and repair work. Not only did they completely restore the table to better than its previous condition, but they were able to give us their professional insights into the history of the table as well. Overall, an amazing local business that I would trust with any family hierloom. Thanks again, guys!
