This is a real old skool machine shop. The same guy has been there for 50 years. There is no one with more experience and knowledge probably in the state of CA when it comes to machine shops. The work hes done for me and everyone I've sent to him has been professionally and perfectly done every time. I trust no one else to do engine work for me.

After coming here for years and making the drive from Fremont, I've decided to no longer be a customer of theirs.I brought in 2 struts assemblies to be swapped with new ones. 2 hrs later, I revieved a call stating that they couldn't do the job because of the limitations of their strut machine.  So now I was left with an incomplete job, time wasted, and rush hour traffic starting on 880. For being a consistent customer, I felt that was an unprecedented oversight on their behalf. They aren't the only machine shop in the area, so I will be taking my business to a more local one from here on out.

Needed to get my Honda engine (head) resurfaced. Came in to get an estimate, and I was told $250USD and would be done in 2 days. Came back two days later, picked it up. Was charged $480USD! No idea why so much. The owner showed me ALL the parts he had replaced. And NEVER did he call to tell me what needed to be replaced and if I wanted to more forward with it, or not! The owner charges you before you pick up the head. - There are a bunch of cooper parts. - A bunch of washers from the Home Depot. - It looks like all the valves have been tampered with and chipped. - The head has zero compression on all 4 cylinders. - The resurface that I originally wanted was NEVER done. - The shop painted over the dirty head to make it look like they've washed it and resurfaced it. The owner is a smooth talker and makes too many false promises. At the end of the day, it was too good to be true. For $480USD, it's a waist of money, for something that never happened but received a bunch of loose parts from the Home Depot. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Great old school machine shop. They did a great job on 1960 Impala control arm bushings.
