The house was nice, clean, and cozy. However the fridge didn't want to get cold nor the freezer.

Overall experience was adequate, but if I was planning another trip to June Lake, I'd be looking at alternative lodging options... - Location is both good and bad. You're away from the downtown crowds and the noise, and the views off both the front and the back balconies are stunning. But you're also not within walking distance of... much of anything, really. - Speaking of balconies, in Cabin #1, the back balcony railing has a 20-30 degree lean to it just by putting a hand on it and pressing. Yes, there's a sign posted to keep off, but I could easily see kids playing and someone just falling right through it. The front balcony looks to have been recently reconstructed. It's stable enough, but the steps and railings are bare unfinished lumber. A can of wood stain would go a long way... - The refrigerator is kinda a trainwreck. Spoiled milk that wasn't cold enough in the front, raspberries literally frozen solid in the back. - Our trip was in late July and the cabin interior got really warm during the day. Opening the front and back doors for airflow helped quite a bit, but the lack of a screen on the front door is a significant problem, as the mosquitos in the area are really really bad. You end up having to choose between an unlivable temperature, or swatting at a swarm of insects inside.
