I ate at The Broken Yolk in La Quinta on March 2 and they added a 100% tip to the tab after I had clearly written 0 in the tip line because I gave the waiter cash for the tip! They still have not responded to my credit card company to make it right. Yes they charged me double and have not made restitution! Oh, and the toast was stone cold. Food was good. Service was poor. We had to flag down a waiter for every thing. For silverware, more coffee, the bill. Very slow. This was at 11 pm on a Thursday morning. Prices were on the high side.

Showed up here today with a group of 7 plus two children. This place is steadily declining every time and we wont be returning again after several chances in hopes it would be better as it was quite decent years ago. Service was brutal. They forgot several things through out the service and when we asked for the forgotten items our server seemed super annoyed she had to get the items which SHE forgot. She would pour coffee for someone in the center of the table and just leave it at the end with no comment.
Food came out cold. Lettuce in a BLT was brown. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.

The server we started with really seemed to avoid serving us. She served two tables after we got sat down. 10 mins later she told us she will be right back but never did. She started making sure if the other table is okay. We had to walk around to request another server. She did not apologized nor anything. She just said that we will have another server at our request. It seemed really intentional and ruined part our experience here. It was the lady who had the tables indoor and near the kitchen. If she would have apologized then it would have made our experience, but it seemed like she didnt even care. The other server we have, Oscar, was really helpful for us.

It was Ceaser's first day. He did a great job. We are sure he will be a great asset to your company. The food was excellent, Ceaser's trainer was very good and friendly. One draw back: the food out of the kitchen was slow even though it wasn't rush hour lunch or breakfast .
