No no one has called and left a voicemail on the mothers phone. The receptionist also had my number (grandmother) and I havent received a call either. Left messages, called several times. Finally after calling for a few days a gal answered. I explained situation and childs behavior. Family is in crisis. Child is out of control eloping. Young lady said shed discuss with her supervisor and call back tomorrow. NEVER CALLED BSCK RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL TO LEAVE A FAMILY WHOS IN CRISIS AND SEEKING HELP IN HOW TO HELP THEIR CHILD HANGING WITH NO CALL BACK. NOT EVEN TO SAY SORRY WE ARE BOOKED BUT HERE ARE SOME RESOURCES. OR WE HAVE YOU ON WAITLIST AND IN THE MEANTIME HERE ARE SOME RESOURCES!!! To not CALL BACK IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! Disappointing for a place thats supposed to be helping children and families.

I absolutely love this place. I live in the Imperial Co. and they had members of their team based out here for my sons ABA. Very professional and very well educated. If we ever move back to California we will definitely be calling them again to help us out. I highly recommend this place.

My experiences with CVL have been amazing. My child was diagnosed at age 7. At an autism event, I met some of the staff and I have been with them now for 7 years. The changes that my child made were so significant. They have been the most supportive and knowledgeable organization that I have ever worked with. My son is able to communicate more effectively and that has built up his own personal self esteem. There have been several professionals that through the years have pointed out what my child would never be able to do. With CVL he has met all of those targets. I am truly grateful for the BCBA and director who have changed me for the better. They are the best in the valley and I highly recommend!

I had my child with CVL for nearly a year doing a combination of in home and in office sessions. They decided to change our sessions for my THREE year old to be zoom sessions instead of in clinic or in home. I protested and we went around for a bit until I decided to pull my child out. In the time I was with them they had a lot of turn over and we went through at least 4 therapist. Finally, a few months after leaving the company they sent me a bill for over $1000. The reason was that I didnt have something completed for them to send off which was not true. After 3 calls to different insurance departments and 2 hours later my insurance company let me know that it was in fact their fault that the paperwork was not completed and that the insurance had reached out to them several times with letters to me (which i forwarded to them via telephone messages to the owner whom we never met) and to the company as well. Finally my insurance agreed to pay the claims if they got paper work in on time so that was nice for me but if not they would have tried to require me to pay for something that was not my fault. Jesse who was one of our therapists was very consistent and on top of his stuff and we really loved having him in our home. I do not recommend this company to anyone with children needing intense therapy.

Hi, Mary. I understand your frustration and I take all concerns seriously. I have investigated this with my staff. We had two missed calls and one voicemail last Thursday on our call log. She answered when you called again and was able to speak with you regarding the concerns and asked to be able to consult with a clinical supervisor as to whether we could take on the case or not. After speaking with a clinical supervisor regarding your concerns, she called the child's mother and left a message asking to be called back so that she could discuss this case further. We did not receive a call after that. She showed me her notes on everything that she discussed with you and the clinical supervisor as well as the reminder she had set for herself to follow up on this case.

Hi, Sarah. I understand that you’re upset regarding the issues experienced with your insurance provider and your disagreement with our model of service delivery. The insurance issues are due to not receiving communication from you about changes to your provider. Once we discovered that, we should have paused our services to avoid a bill balance but because we understood that your child needed the services we continued trusting that we could work together to resolve the insurance issue. We moved away from clinic because our program requires parent participation and it wasn’t happening. We moved to telehealth due to health precautions and outbreaks of COVID. Overturn of therapists is high industry wide and, while we do what we can to retain our employees, we cannot control the choices they make. I understand that you felt you needed to air your frustration through a review. Despite that, I truly wish you and your family well and that you are able to find a provider that better meets your needs and is able to live up to your expectations.
