We found Shannon 6 years ago when my son was 1 year old. We had just moved to the desert and needed a childcare provider so I could work full time. It's always hard to leave a first born at a daycare, but Shannon made the transition so easy. She is very caring, with a house that is very kid friendly and welcoming for them. My son grew leaps and bounds during his time with Shannon. He is now in 1st grade and he still asks to go to Shannon's during school holidays and teacher education days. We also have a 3 year old daughter who started at Shannon's when she was 6 weeks old. We had no hesitation with this decision. We also found out that our daughter has a peanut and egg allergy and have complete confidence that the environment Shannon provides is safe and healthy for her food and allergy needs. If you are looking for a safe, friendly, experienced daycare provider, look no further. We are all lucky to have found Shannon!

I found Shannon Doty with Sweat Peas daycare by chance. I was a first time mom that did not have any maternity leave past 6 weeks. I was so nervous being one a first time mom and two having to leave my baby girl all day with someone whom Ive never met. I never knew how hard it was to find a infant daycare provider, it is not just anyone that you can trust with your child especially so young. After the first interview I knew she was perfect for our family. I have complete confidence in her care and actually felt at ease knowing I had someone like Shannon to care for her. Both my kids were less than 2 months old going into her care. It has now been 4 years and she currently watches my now 5 month old as well. I consider her family and anyone with an opportunity to have her as a provider is lucky.
