Vikki and Robbie have been the perfect hosts upon my visits to my mother who lives at the Palms at La Quinta. Vikki's caring attitude and Robbie's quick entertaining wit with a joke or story after a meal surround the dining room with joy and laughter. It's always a pleasure to return! - Paul

My parents have lived at the Palms for almost five years and really enjoy it. The managers, Vikki and Robbie, create a very warm environment so it feels like one big family. Its a beautifully appointed place. My sister and I are glad they found such a nice place to live.

My sister recently moved into the Palms as her mobility has declined. Everyone has been so understanding and kind in helping her make the transition. Appreciate the live-in managers being available 24/7 for her support. Shout out to Dawn for being there every step of the way.

Dede Matz left a 5 star review on My ListingI search throughout the Cochella valley for my father who is 89 years old and still wanting an independent life! Dawn is AMAZING, caring, compassionate, knows every tenant and transitions new comers beautifully. My request was awkward, because I needed Dawns help getting my father to agree living at The Palms. Without a long wordy review, long of short, my dad wasnt happy of me asking him to move into an independent living. He went on his own and absolutely loved Dawn. He said, She really asked me, what do YOU want from an independent living? They worked it out, set up movers for him and he is living HAPPILY! My sisters called me a few weeks later and said, Wow! Dads, 100% different and sounds amazing! My dad was depressed, negative, health rapidly declining and now hes in the gym at 6:30am before breakfast calling me saying hes up to 4000 steps!! Its so beautiful there and these people are their to LIVE! Excellent meals, functions, housekeeping weekly, transportation available, basically its a cruise ship on land and Dawns, Julie from the love boat! I kid you not! I hope anyone thats in a dilemma needing their parents to transition into an independent living you speak w/ Dawn. I promise you you will be so happy you did! I love seeing my dad happy and living again!! Thank you for everyone at The Palms that made this happen!

The Palms at La Quinta continues to be such a place of comfort, learning, inclusion and positivity for my mother. My mother struggles with several difficult health issues. In the Palms independent living set up, I can care for her twice a day, once in the morning before my work, once in the evening after my work, and during the day she has her independent time to herself. It is a perfect balance so both of us get what we need as care receiver and care giver. What sets the Palms apart is its vivacious staff. Robbie and Vikki, the married, on-site management power house, are the perfect blend of practicality and sensitivity to each individual resident's situation and needs. Stephanie, the activities director, engages in many different kinds of action, from leading exercise classes, to managing TED talks and other study classes, weekly outings, organizing on-site events. Her positive, no nonsense attitude keeps everyone focused and at ease, even if they decide to do an unfamiliar activity and try something new. Esteban, head of maintenance, constantly ensures that everything works, or if it doesn't, he immediately knows about it and it's on his list. There's never a day that goes by when he's not smiling and greeting everyone as he passes by on his busy schedule. Martin, the executive chef, prepares 3 meals daily, a delectable combination of meats, pastas, veggies, fruits, desserts and beverages throughout each week, in a lovely dining room setting which often has one of the residents playing live piano. David, Aegis Therapies, the on-site physical therapist, provides cheerful, challenging and effective physical therapy visits for those in need. Most is covered by insurance. For those residents who need a little extra help, there is the on-site Diamonds Home Care that provides everything from extra physical assistance from time to time, to full time 24 hour live in care. The location is superb, close to the main shopping area of La Quinta with Eisenhower Urgent Care literally 3 minutes away. But the main highlight of the Palms are the residents themselves. They pack the days with activities, support and love. They watch out for each other. All make the world a better place because of who they are. I cannot think of a better place for my mother to live. I am so grateful and appreciative for everyone and everything at The Palms at La Quinta.
