Will never buy tires at Costco again. Tire warranties (40k miles out of 80k tires) are a difficult process of finding the manager and getting someone to actually answer the phone. Once youve jumped through the hurdles, youre made to feel that youve pulled one over on them if you are success in getting Costco to honor 50% of the manufacturers warranty. Low prices arent worth the hassle. Unfortunately, after five interactions to get Costco to honor the warranty and replace tires, it is apparent that my experience is representative of the culture rather than an individual staff member. For example, LQ staff called Palm Desert Costco and could not reach the tire center after 30 minutes until they got the direct phone number for their general manager. Its such a shame since the rest of Costco provides great customer service throughout your experience.

Cost wise I know I'm getting a great value, have had either valve or pressure issues and it's tough get myself in between the hours of operation. Finally scheduled to have my car brought in, requested tire rotation and rebalance. Only valve issue was addressed, no tire rotation, and assume no re-balance as requested on appointment. (Family member brought in vehicle - I can only assume that the typed up request for appointment did not make it to the end service technician.) Tried calling the store number, no response after 2 minutes of ringing.
